Vivian Maier - Newly Discovered Photographer

Vivian Maier's Blog was created by John Maloof to show Vivian Maier's vast collection of previously unseen images. She was a street photographer, working from the 1950's to 1990's. Maloof discovered this unknown body of work at an auction in Chicago where Maier lived most of her life. It includes over 100, 000 mostly medium format negatives, thousands of prints and countless undeveloped films. The quality of the photographs in every sense is remarkable.
