I'm currently planning a redesign of my website and the products I offer clients (still don't like that word). I intend to produce a kind of across-the-board coherence that spans website, printed output, business cards and any other publicity material I may choose.
I like the look of Michelle Turner's website but I have to consider the functionality and feel of the site. I don't want my website to just reflect wedding photography, I'd like it cover the events I've photographed plus any areas of personal growth. However, there is a danger of trying to be all things to all men and then suffering from a lack of any real identity. I need to explore more closely what others are doing. Do I want to offer prints for sale online? Should I use a 3rd party website that provides the whole ordering to printing service? I need to limit my selection of products. There is a whole range of questions to be answered.
I also like the look of Elisabeth Hoff's website. Designed by Amazing Internet.
Of the books, I'm exploring the ranges of Loxley Colour and Booked. The former do a range of stiff leaves while Booked produce hand-made books of high quality paper.
